Golf sketches go to auction
Three missing preparatory oil sketches for one of golf's most iconic pictures, Charles Lees' The Golfers: A Grand Match played over St Andrews Links, are to go up for auction today.

The portraits of the Earl of Eglinton who founded the Open Championship in 1860, and his two companions – Lord Viscount Valentia and John Campbell of Glensaddell – are expected to fetch over £25,000 at Bonhams in Chester.
