Following a day of rain, 14 members played in the August Monthly Medal on a warm evening with only a short, light shower of rain. Although the greens had not been cut due to the wet conditions, scoring was much better than the previous week. Congratulations are due to Luis Prado on winning his first competition with a net 103 (111-8), 2 strokes less than four others on 105.
